Classes, workshops, performances and get-togethers in Cochise County.

Homeschool Swim

What: Open swim time for homeschooled children. Children of all ages must be accompanied by a parent or another adult.
When: Fridays at 1:00PM - 2:20PM
Where: The Cove, Sierra Vista
Cost: $2.50 per child ($10 family max) and adults are free.
How: High Desert Homeschoolers often meet for a picnic at Veteran's Park (near the castle playground) at 11:30AM for an informal picnic before Friday Swim.

Homeschool Gymnastics Class

What: Desert Thunder Gym offers a coed homeschool gymnastics class for ages 6 and up.
When: Mondays 2:15-3:15.
Cost: $40/month per class (there is a discount for more than one child)

Home Depot's Kids' Workshops

What: Home Depot offers workshops for children ages 6-12. Younger children can participate with parents' help. Kids work on projects like wooden birdhouses, step stools, and sailboats. They get a free apron and an achievement pin for each project completed.
When: First Saturday of the month usually from 8am-10am. Please call ahead to confirm time as it may change due to the weather.
Cost: Free!
