Let's Get Together!
Park Day
What: A social gathering for the kids (and parents!) to play and interact together. There is always free play. Occasionally parents set up other activities such as kites, games, or crafts. This is also the place to bring your Boxtops for Education and your Scholastics orders. And, Newcomers, please feel welcome to stop by and meet us!When: Every second and fourth Friday of each month. In the winter, we usually meet up at around 11:00AM. In summer, we get together at 10:00Am. (In the highest heat of summer, we sometimes come at 9:00AM.) Typically, we are there for about two hours. Check the blog for changes due to weather.
Cost: Free!
Where: At Thompkins Park under the covered playground. We usually bring folding chairs, but there is grass nearby as well. Thompkins Park is located on the corner of Seventh Street and Buffalo Soldier Trail.

Game Day
What: Kids bring a variety of games and group-oriented activities to play.When: Varies. Typically, about once a month in the early afternoon.
Where: Also varies, but usually at the library in the main meeting room (west end of the building).
Cost: Free!
How: Check the blog or contact us to set a date.
Mom's Night Out
What: Mom's chance to go out (usually to dinner) and be with other adults. Dads are also welcome, but this is a great opportunity for the kids to get to know the babysitter better.When: Varies. We like to get together once a month, but it depends upon how often a member sets this up.
Where: Also varies. Usually the person putting it together gets a general consensus from the group and then makes reservations at a local restaurant that fits the tastes of everyone who wants to come.
Cost: Each person pays their own ticket at dinner and we split the tip.
How: Currently there is no one in charge of this event. If you are interested in taking over this event, please contact us!
This group relies on member participation in planning activities for the group. If you have an idea for a field trip, get-together, or other activity, you can post an announcement on the blog to arrange it. Once you have a set date, contact us so we can post the information here.
